Calculator inputs
Wheel dimensions, tire sizes, speeds, and clearances are used in your browser to produce the result. These inputs are not submitted to a calculation service.
Share links
A share link includes the chosen dimensions after the # character in the URL. Anyone who receives that link can read its contents and load the calculation. This part of a URL is not included in the normal request for the page from the hosting server.
A share link is not encrypted. It may be retained in browser history or in the service you use to share it. Only share measurements you intend to disclose.
Browser storage
Your display-unit preference is stored locally in your browser. If you enable “Remember this setup”, tire and wheel specifications are also stored locally. Measured physical clearances are excluded from saved setups. This option is off by default.
Use “Clear saved data” in a calculator to remove its saved preferences and all tool setups. Browser storage may be unavailable or disabled; the calculators still work. You can also remove local website data through your browser’s site-data settings.
Analytics and advertising
This version includes no advertising, analytics, session recording, or third-party error-reporting scripts.
Ordinary website requests
Loading the website requires a request to its hosting service. The service can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser information, and requested page path. Local calculations do not eliminate the requests needed to deliver the website.
Links to other websites
The methodology page links to manufacturer references. Opening those links takes you to websites with their own privacy practices.
